It is not often that we have Weimaraners at the refuge. Meet Neron. He has not had the easiest life so far, he was given away for free to someone who had another dog, an Neron was basically the other dog’s chew toy, with the owner refusing to intervene. Poor Neron is covered in cuts and bruises, and is very thin. He was rescued by someone who saw his plight and brought him to the refuge, and luckily neither of his former owners has tried to reclaim him. Neron was born in August 2017 and is one of the gentlest dogs I have met. Despite everything he has been through he adores people and seeks out affection. And he seems to be fine with other dogs too. This boy just has the best nature!
